Embarrassed silence ensued.

Overheard on my verandah recently:
"There are some things a man just can't walk around" (I think that was actually Gary Cooper)
"I can make cheesecakes on auto-pilot"
"You can't put the shit back into the horse"

I looked up "un" in the Shorter Oxford and apart from the blurb running to many paragraphs, it seems to mean "reversal or deprivation of".
Add whatever suffix to this and it all starts to make sense.
Merry Xmas and happy 2008 to all who partake on the verandah. I miss the tiger and company and shall return. (unannouced at per usual!)
Fingers crossed for a safe and prosperous future for ET. M
